We believe teaching students to give back to their community is not simply something to add into curriculum, but should be a way of life that flows out of interest and care for people and our world.  Therefore, from as early as kindergarten, our children engage in service learning activities which provide them with opportunities to serve and learn from those who experience life differently and often face  challenges which differ greatly from those of our students.  K through grade 8 service learning projects are arranged by class teachers in conjunction with local charities, while Grades 9 through 12 students are required to complete a specified number of community service hours as part of their high school graduation requirements.
