Chinese Program Description |

In Chinese class, the students are taught all four components of language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. At the beginning levels, listening and speaking are emphasized and pinyin is used along with Chinese characters. As the students advance, they are taught to read and write in Chinese characters alone. Since students enter IAB with differing backgrounds in Chinese, we offer at least two levels within each grade level division. |
